Interesting facts:

- History
The King of Bayern (Bavaria) had a big wedding. This wedding lasted eight days and lots of people went to see it.
- Place and Time:  
Oktoberfest is held in Munich, Germany and now it starts in September to take advantage of warmer weathers. It rungs into the first week of October though.
- Food
During the fest, people drink lots of German beer and Schnaps and eat lots of Pretzeln (a special cake), weiss wurst bratwurst (white sausage), and sauerkraut. 


- Interesting facts:
1. The October Fest is the biggest celebration in the world.
2. The first ever Oktoberfest was held on October 12th 1810.
3. On average 6 million people attend the festival each year.
